What is it?
The Phonak ComPilot II is an all-in-one streaming and remote control accessory that can receive speech and music from different Bluetooth® devices such as cellphones, MP3 players, TV streamers, tablets, etc.) and stream these sounds wirelessly to your hearing aids. It can also connect to a Roger/FM receiver or 3.5mm audio input.
Why use it?
It can boost the performance of the hearing aids as the directional microphone in ComPilot II picks up clear speech when speaking on the phone, and offers stereo sound quality when listening to music or watching TV (with TV Link II).
How do I use it?
Simply place the neckloop around your neck and you can enjoy ComPilot II. It can stream immediately out of the box or it can be customized to your preference by configuring it in the audiologist’s office with the Phonak fitting software.
What is the allowable distance between the ComPilot II and cellphone?
The ComPilot II should be worn around the neck during the phone call. The maximum distance between the ComPilot II and phone is 5-10m (15-30ft).
What is the allowable distance between ComPilot and TV Link?
Wireless transmission up to 30 meters (90 ft.).
What hearing aids are compatible with ComPilot II?
ComPilot II is compatible with Audeo B and Naida B.
