Product Description
In the RIC (Receiver-in-the-Canal) hearing aids, the receiver refers to the wire with the receiver/speaker that goes inside the ear canal on one end and attached to the main hearing aid body on the other end. On the receiver, you’ll see a blue colour for the left ear and a red colour for the right ear.
You will also see a number and a letter on the receiver and these denotes the power level and the length size of the receiver. The power level depends of the degree of hearing loss and the receiver length can be measured by your audiologist. Please ask your audiologist which receiver is appropriate for you before placing an order.
Please ensure you have your audiologist’s assistance or you know how to remove and replace the receiver. Pub Hearing is not responsible for any damage to the hearing aids during replacement of the receivers.
