The CROS Infinio provides a CROS and BICROS solution for people with an unaidable hearing loss in one ear. The CROS I-R is worn on the unaidable ear to pick up sounds and wirelessly transmits them to a compatible Phonak hearing aid worn on the ear with better hearing. The CROS I-R has no acoustical output therefore it cannot be used alone or by itself. It is meant to be used with a compatible hearing aid on the other side.
Phonak SmartSpeech Technology
In a CROS I-R system, the user can access relevant SmartSpeech Technology including Stereo Zoom 2.0 thanks to the combination with the compatible Infinio device.
CROS balance
The loudness ratio between CROS device and the hearing aid can be adjusted either via Target fitting software with your audiologist or directly via a short press on the multi-function button of the CROS device.
The CROS I-R is compatible with Audeo I-R hearing aids, which are driven by the Phonak Infinio platform.
The Phonak CROS I offers:
- CROS solution for those with unaidable hearing loss in one ear and normal hearing in the other ear, and
- BiCROS solution for those for those with unaidable hearing loss in one ear and aidable hearing loss in the other ear.

All hearing aids (excluding Oticon and Signia Active devices) purchased from PUB Hearing come with 36-month (3-year) European warranty and a 1-year international warranty.
